| Studied engineering and sculpture while at the University of Tulsa. Graduated with a BFA in Scuplture. Comissioned to create sculptures for the Tulsa International Airport: metal mobile sculpltures and metal banners. Attended ID courses at Art Center and Cal State Long Beach. While working for Landmark Entertainment in North Hollywood CA, created animated-mechanical devices for Japanese themepark . Designed toys, tools, and lighting while working Design Collective, an industrial design firm in West Hollywood CA Developed metal furniture for a start-up company called Innovative Metal Designs, in Huntington Beach CA. Worked on a dermatological laser device while working for Industrial Design Associates, in Salt Lake City, UT Accepted full time position as product developer at California Medical Corporation, Long Beach, CA. While working at California Medical, we worked on a light-guided entubation device, corrugated CPR manikin and blow and injection molded CPR manikins. Transfered to NY to become part of Laerdal Medical Corporation. Lead the development of the Stifneck Select collar, SpeedBlocks head immobilizer and worked on the team that developed the Inflate-A-Shield CPR Barrier. Completed Masters of Design at ID in 2004. Design Research Manager at Gold Peak Industries in Hong Kong, 2004-2005 Principal of Carrot Strategic Design, 2005. Joined Radius Product Development, Boston as Director of Design Research, 2006. Our teams have won 3 IDEA golds, 1 ID Gold and 2 ID Bronze I have been awarded 5 utility patents and 3 design patents. | |||||||||||||
