Description

The Insight Matrix is a robust analytical software tool for generating defendable, compelling insights using qualitative and/or quantitative research data. Unlike basic spreadsheet or high-end data-mining tools, an Insight Matrix can recognize and visualize patterns of correlation between varying types of data sets to help foster higher-level insights.

An Insight Matrix is composed of either a list to compare to itself or two different lists. The lists create the X and Y axis of the matrix and the resulting intersections are scored according to how strongly related the items are to one another. Clusters resulting from the scoring provide higher-level insights about the research data.

Providing a general approach to integrate different types of research data and a means to appraise the relationships within the data in a visual format, this tool is excellent for analyzing complex research data to create powerful insights that lay a pathway to innovative new concepts.
