Biography:
I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a degree in literature and studio art and a vision of communications changing the world. I went to rural Arkansas to run a non-profit arts organization, but I couldn't resist the fast, relentless energy of the city pulling me back.
I am intrigued by the fuzzy boundaries of design, and I am interested in clarifying it. I am inspired by the work of thinkers like Christopher Alexander and ID's systems theorists to bring such fuzziness into consciousness where it becomes complexity. And I hope to follow in the footsteps of designers like Edward Tufte and ID's communication design professors to distill that complexity into clear, deep knowledge.
