| As Director of Communications and Marketing, Vincent Tulio LaConte is the person in charge of web and print content, public relations, communications, storytelling, special events, and wisecracks at the Institute of Design. Prior to working at ID, Vince was Senior Associate at Round Table Group, a Chicago consulting firm specializing in litigation consulting and executive education. Prior to that, he somehow acquired a BA degree in the science of politics and the art of international relations from Northwestern University in Evanston. He is the former bassist for Clyde Federal, a Chicago indie rock group that is no more (although some of its members are still making good music.) Vince is a part-time MDes student at ID, with an expected graduation date of 20xx. His areas of interest are communication planning, interaction and sustainable design. He enjoys numerous forms of recreation including cooking and dining, gardening, yoga, international travel, cycling, the cinema, and letting the good times roll. | |||||||||||
