Design Planning & Strategy, Service & Interaction Experience

Biography

After graduating from UC Berkeley with a double major in Political Science and Art, I worked in online marketing at Google in Mountain View, CA. I worked there for the past few years, until coming to the Institute of Design.
I've always been interested in a variety of topics, especially anything that emphasizes creativity and innovation. I was drawn to ID's interdisciplinary approach, attracted to its focus on user-centric design, and intrigued by how it moved beyond traditional design programs to tackle complex problems in many different contexts.
I have been focusing on design planning and strategy, with a strong interest in combining interaction and service design. I'm especially excited about the power of design in promoting social change.
