Engagement Opportunities

Ways to Engage with ID

At the core of ID’s mission is a commitment to the transfer of design methods to the larger world. Organizations and individuals from across the globe engage with the Institute of Design in a number of ways. Each summer, ID brings together groups of diverse business professionals for week-long immersions in design methods at Design Summer Camp. Organizations seeking to develop their own innovation processes engage with the school to customize programs tailored to their specific goals. Those organizations curious to see how design methods might be applied to a particular problem area can sponsor classes. If they wish to explore deeper, they can sponsor faculty-led research projects in a range of areas. Organizations striving to build their in-house design capabilities can participate in our recruitment events to connect with full-time design talent and interns. Through its engagements, ID serves as a node in the global innovation network and fosters a sense of community.
