Kathleen Brandenburg, who received her Master of Design degree in 1998 from the Institute of Design, has been recognized as one of the Top 50 Most Influential Designers in America by Fast Company.  Kathleen founded IA Collaborative, a research and strategy-focused design firm in Chicago in 1999. She integrates user research with design planning methodology to lead the company as Principal and Director of Design Strategy. IA Collaboratives designs innovations products and business solutions for top international companies like Nike, GE, and ESPN. Kathleen credits much of her success to the education she received at IIT Institute of Design.
